Before you bring it in
What We Don't Buy
Honestly, we get excited about buying almost any record — but if we said yes to everything, we’d run out of space fast and end up with stacks of stuff our customers just aren’t looking for.
So here’s what’s usually a tough sell for us: easy listening, big band, Broadway musicals, opera, some comedy LPs, Time Life and Reader’s Digest box sets, children’s stories, and exercise records. That said, there are always exceptions — some of these we can take if the title or price is right, so it never hurts to ask.
One firm no: records that are badly scratched or cracked to the point they won’t play.
