The Vintage Record

The shop is located in the heart of Sydney's premiere music retail area, with Jacksons Rare Guitars, The Bass People, Music 101, Gallins Guitars and Sydney Guitar Set-Ups close by. Live music venues The Annandale Hotel and The Empire Hotel are also found on the same retail strip. This gives the area a real vibrancy with a definite bent to musicians and live music. The store services these people by stocking quality vinyl from the past 60 years as well as new releases and re-issues. A reliable record finding service is also available. Utopia Records believes it is Australia’s premier heavy metal and hard rock specialty record store. The store has existed since 1978 supplying Sydney and Australia with all things metal, hard rock, punk, alternative and anything in between.
