Rockers

On a trip from Hamburg to Munich my first stop was in Hannover in Northern Germany. Here I went to Rockers Records, a store dealing with all styles and mainly vinyl, but also lots of cassettes. Plus they have spray cans. Rockers was founded in 1993. Unfortunately the owner wasn’t there, so I asked the crew to take a photo of them, showing their favourite records, but they were too shy and promised to send a photo showing the owner and his favourite record, which they never did.

Ohrwurm CDs

In Hannover my 2nd stop was at Monster Records, but since it was closed I only made some store front photos, check the website for these. The 3rd stop was Ohrwurm CDs, a store dealing with mainly CDs, but also some vinyl. It was founded back in 1987 by Olaf (see photos) and Erik. They cover all styles and said: “Since 1987 our store "Ohrwurm" has been Hannover's place to go for second hand and new CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays, and LPs. We are offering a vast selection of most genres from current releases to back catalogues with our main focus being on CDs. Our range is consistently good value, in addition to which we regularly have sales and many reduced items. About us: In 1991, when "Ohrwurm" was still mostly a CD rental, Olaf started to work here while studying at university, as did Erik five years later. In 2009 we took over the store as full owners.“
