Strummer Room Records
Strummer Room Records is owned and run by Chris Oakes. The Strummer Room started life as an independent music project which became involved in the organisation of small festivals and gigs within Oxfordshire, UK. Including a regular radio show on Radio Horton and Puritans Radio promoting and featuring music from local bands and artistes. Chris opened a small 2nd hand vinyl record shop “Strummer Room Records - Mark 1” on the top floor of an antique emporium in Parsons Street, Banbury in 2018 and then moved to a pop-up shop just up the road in Church Lane in February 2020 and then located to their current premises in the Cherwell Business Village in November 2020. Strummer Room Records now specialise in brand new vinyl records, but also stock a large, range of pre-loved vinyl albums and singles of all genres, music-related books and DVD’s. We also sell vinyl, cassettes and CD's via Discogs We have an ever-changing stock, from pre-orders, new releases and re-issues. Contact us for information.
